I think you’re giving him way too much credit. He looks like he should be taking molly and putting daisies in his hair at an EDM concert. Iron Maiden is way too aggressive for someone like Zib, unless he got it at hot topic and doesn’t realize it’s a real band.
Haha

There’s a very specific to the area type of person that he looks like to me. In the 80’s in the NY/NJ area there were lots of dudes who looked just like what I described and Mika reminds me of that every time I see him. Basically an 80’s/Metal/Guido if that makes sense.

Both teams don’t seem happy with their guy atm lol
I'm curious about where you're getting the idea that ANA is unhappy with Zegras. If anything, I would say that both the team and team leadership have had nothing but praise for Zegras' work ethic and attitude. Even fans of the team who watch him every game by and large agree that Zegras has been doing everything his coaches ask him in terms of polishing his all-around game.

Interestingly when he was a point machine (for his age), the narrative was he's all flash and has no defense but now that his defensive responsibility has increased but point production is down, the narrative is he's a bust that ANA is unhappy with?

To be clear, I think the goal is for him to be well-rounded while still producing so that remains to be seen but between an injury shortened season, an ask to shift the focus of his game, as well as an attempt to shift him out to the wing (not his natural position) due to our Center depth, I don't see any reason for the ANA front office to be unhappy with where he is currently.

Does Zib still look like he should be driving an I-ROC while wearing acid wash jeans, an Iron Maiden t-shirt, and black Reebok?
Don't get him confused for that badass Gen X look.

The reality is he's far more of a Hipster, likely to be seen in a no name coffee shop, drinking a vente decaf soy mocha latte, thinking of how he can bring his DJ act to Burning Man 2024.
