I was antsy to get Fil on the 1st line and pull Roslovic, yet here Roslovic is a ppg in the playoffs...its a good problem to have

It’s so nice to be in the playoffs and have snarl. That has been the missing ingredient. Playing against heavy teams takes its toll as the series and playoffs go on.

Good to get game 1, but I had the feeling that if the game lasted another 2-3 minutes, the Hurricanes would've tied the game and won it in OT. The Rangers were barely hanging on. No legitimate shot attempts in the last 10-15 minutes of the game (Zibanejad had his empty netter knocked away just before it reached the goalline). You can't sit back and hope to hang on.

What the hell was that drop back pass by Zibenajad late in the first?

Looked like the puck was bouncing hard on him at that point, and he figured someone else would have a better shot at it. That was the best i could come up with at least, watching it

Some of that is playing prevent Defense and not just playing their game, but, yeah, they have to stop turtling so ineffectively.

Guess who lost ANOTHER road playoff game. Rod and the boys really struggle on the road. I am still dumbfounded how we are the underdogs in this series on this alone. We are dominant at home they stink on the road.

Then I don’t know how you look at the talent on the ice and say the hurricanes have more. Just nonsense. Absolute nonsense. I don’t even think it’s close.
