Please vote on how you believe he's graded mid season. Would love it if you gave justification as well. Wish he would define meaning full games, better not be for a top 5 pick.
Wasn't I, but I can understand why. GMBA is excellent at drafting (getting the right scouts, picking the best prospects at their draft positions, and accumulating draft assets). It is too soon to fully critique the draft choices, but the overall trajectory looks great. That's the beauty of this form is different options but would love to hear why with the As
I was thinking of voting A because the reality is, he’s somewhere between A and B for me. He doesn’t walk on water, but I also don’t feel the need to boot him after 1 more year. Ridiculous choices.Would love to know if the two A votes are serious or just goofin'![]()
Only D says turf him. A everyone is drinking his koolaid. B Give another year before we hold him accountable. C His ass is on the line for team play but listen to see if he has a plan to improve with measurable goals.. D Try to salvage the season and start to hold people accountable. Hold him accountable for what after one more year? His rebuild has been fine so far up to this point. One of the only GMs in the league with the stones to actually blow it up completely. He accumulated assets by the bucket loads. These same assets need time to develop. You don’t just draft them, turn around and then bam, they’re all in your lineup and making significant contributions. These kids are teenagers when drafted, I’d give them until they’re at least 23 to start judging them. None of these players we have drafted are McDavid, Crosby, or even Celebrini tier.Only D says turf him. A everyone is drinking his koolaid. B Give another year before we hold him accountable. It's easy to blow it up when you can't make money anyway and the fans are already scarce. Utah is gonna show you quickly why revenue drives such decisions.Hold him accountable for what after one more year? His rebuild has been fine so far up to this point. Someone mentioned above about waiting until But and Simashev are on the roster to see how things look. Well that’s good and all, but if we’re talking about waiting until next year when both guys are rookies then be prepared for more complaining. Those two are also going to need 3 years or so to start making any significant contributions as well.
I think people who act like the rebuild should only take 4 to 5 years are crazy. That’s just the time it should take until we start seeing the first wave of prospects becoming impact players. Which is what we are seeing now with Cooley and Guenther. And no, I don’t think Armstrong walks on water. I’m just in the boat who thinks his positives far outweigh his negatives at the moment.

A Simashev - Lamoureux 3rd pairing next season.Just to clarify, I did say more with that. You're oversimplifying what I said/meant.
I agree with a lot of what you said.
Daniil But:
KHL - 115 GP, 46 PTS, +20, ATOI/G 10:04
Dmitry Simashev:
KHL - 125 GP, 16 PTS, +18, ATOI/G 14:13
They're both doing well playing in the second-best league in the world. If it takes 3 years for either of them to make significant contributions in the NHL something is wrong. There will be an adjustment period (and more developing.) There always is. But these guys have basically spent 2 seasons in a league better than the AHL already.
