While I'm simply enjoying the ride, I'm not going to lie.

I did prefer Houston over Baltimore. Even though Baltimore is on the ropes right now as well.

This is why it was so crucial to clinch last Friday. Gave them the opportunity to pitch Skubal in game one and see what could happen.

This is great that they are playing without high expectations or pressure...and with only one true star on the team. You can pull out all the stops when you feel you have nothing to lose. Stay loose, have fun and keep going boys🤟.

Tork should have got the out at home. Matt Vierling double clutching like a chud also cost a run. He settled down, but his defense let him down, he should be fine...hopefully.
Yeah he gave up 3 infield hits that werent even hit hard. He ended up in a shitty spot but I would hardly say it was fully on Jobe.

Also with not having a good angle for the throw to the plate, I was kinda surprised Vierling didnt just let that Altuve foul ball drop. I know an out is an out but he didnt have much of a chance at making the throw

Altuve is a much bigger threat if you give him the second chance at life in a high leverage playoff moment with the bases loaded, no outs, against a rookie in his third appearance at the MLB.

I think you gladly accept the one run scoring instead of a bases clearing double.

Vierling's body language looked like he was surprised that someone decided to test his arm when it wasn't really that long of a fly ball, but he couldn't really get around the ball so you see that drifting shuffle and late realization that he's got a play.
