Who said they don't count? Would like to see if there's some versatility in his scoring!

That is the kind of player he is though, a net front presence, so most of his goals are going to come from in tight. No different than a guy like Ciccarelli, he was not some sniper or anything, but scored 600+ goals by being an annoying pest in tight to the net.

Ciccarelli was more than just net front presence.

Maybe it happens right after this, but celebrate with your teammates Ras, didn't like the post goal.

I liked the neutral zone steal and delay to make sure it was onside, nice play.

Yeah I'm wondering if they were up/down 6-1 or something.

if we were to move Ras would you think he still has good trade value? i just dont know if he'll ever be what i wanted him to be. which is fine but i guess i was just hoping for him to be a power forward that could put up 50-60pts a season but its looking like maybe he will be less than that. which is cool i have thought about trading him for a little while now though and just wondered what we could realistically get

Trading prospects at this point just delays the rebuild process. Getting draft picks for Raz doesn't guarantee that we will wind up with a better player, a lot of late 1st rounders and second rounders wash out.

So what if he winds up being a 3C and PP/PK specialist? That still fills a team need. I'd rather have Raz as 3C instead of Flip/Namestnikov/Gagner/Nielsen/LGD/Helm in the long run.

Rather wait and see what role he develops into, trading prospects before letting em develop is counter productive for the rebuild

You have Veleno vying for that spot too. And in spite of him playing center for a season at the AHL, his slow, nearly 1 dimensional play style is better suited for a middle 6 winger. I could see a line of Bert-Veleno-Ras being a great third line in the future, hard to play against, and is great for depth scoring.

If our upper 2 tier F's make the NHL, we'll be 9 deep. Sign Barkov in UFA & we're set up front.

Larkin
Mantha
Zadina
Raymond
Bert
Fabbri
+
Veleno
Berggren
Ras
+
possible Soderblom, Grewe, Mastro, Svech, Niederbach, Stange etc.

Werenski=1LD. 1G in UFA shouldn't be too hard to find. Boom.

Something like Sergachev for Rasmussen, could be good for both teams.

I wouldn't let Tampa fans see this, they are going to be pretty angry at that being floated as anywhere near appropriate value.
It's just a sample what SY could do , somehow they need to figure out how to fit him there. Anyway guy is only 21 and if we get great offer for him, why not

... or maybe Joe winds up centering the 4th line. Not really sure what to make of him yet.

Seems like all of Holland's picks have issues making the jump from juniors with the exception of Larkin.

In any case, it doesn't change my argument. Not point in trading Raz right now.
