I like the kid and he's grown as a player a bit but slim to none frankly. he's been passed by old prospects and about to get draft-pedigree'd by new.

Not this year. Ultimately I see him as an AHL forward, but he still has time to prove me wrong.

I just don't see it. That being said, he made the most strides of any prospect last year from his rookie campaign as he was in much better physical condition. He does several things okay, but doesn't really stand out enough to me in any area. His skating improved, but he's not particularly fast or dynamic. He's got a decent shot, seems to be single-minded sometimes when he gets the puck but doesn't look around or execute options. I will say he was better towards the end of the year though in that area. Jelled with Byron and JAD on a line, was productive there. He's feisty, but takes way too many stick fouls.
