Nothing should come of it? You don’t play with skate blades, ever. Ask Malarchuk, Zednik, Kane etc. how they feel about. Hard, soft, fake kick, whatever. He should get what Kassian got to send a message. This should not be tolerated in any league ever.

One of the mysteries of the universe is how Bunting has so far avoided getting his face caved in.

Come playoff time, with Simmonds unlikely to dress, Leafs' first-round opponent only needs to grab Bunting in first period of the first game and pound him into the ice. When Simmonds isn't on the ice, Bunting is in effect the Leafs' 'tough guy.'

The Leafs's gutlessness is legendary, especially during the playoffs. They just don't have it.

My favorite part was during the sportsnet intermission after Coyle goes after him before the intermission and there was that scrum and they are trying to figure out why it happened and never mentioned this play once.
