Holy shit - this made me look up his stats and Huberdeau has never cracked 60 pts with the flames! What a great surprise present

No need to cry, an extra large piece of toilet paper is useful lol

So many big names here. What’s funny to me is I never knew Tiger Goldstick as anyone other than that cranky old guy on CFRN almost 50 years ago.Merry Christmas to all and may the NY bring SC tidings.
Heres some history for you all. The Original Edmonton Pro team the Edmonton Flyers. Lots of famous names on there. Al Arbour, Johnny Bucyk, Glenn Hall, Norm Ullman, Bronco Horvath. Tiger Goldstick etc
Team had more skill than the expansion clubs that would come to the NHL yrs later. It was often said the Flyers weren't far off NHL quality. Bruins fans would often complain the Flyers farm team was better than the NHL club. lol This was the 1954-55 club. Many went on to NHL as players, coaches, managers etc and several as hockey legends. Thats 70yrs ago and the team won the WHL championship that season.
This isn't AI either. The poster features original Lepage technology cut and paste photoshop.

I never knew he played pro hockey either. I had known of the others. Several top Bruins legends played on the Edmonton Flyers. We were a farm team. I think for Detroit as well at times. Its fascinating too to see how good that old WHL circuit was. Two of the best goalies on the planet for instance Glenn Hall, and Johnny Bower were playing in that league before they hit NHL. I knew Al Arbour played here for years. So ironic he went from playing here to being Edmonton's foe as a coach of the Islanders. My dad and his friends used to go to some of the games. I wasn't born yet. Although I think the Flyers lasted here on and off to about 1963 but the 60s club was not quite as good as the World class 50's club. Beginning around 1966 we went to Edmonton Oil Kings games. That was good hockey too. Followed that club a lot for a decade. So many big names here. You’re older than me so all that was before my time. I do recall people talking about those teams when I was a kid though. I don’t remember talk about being the Bruins farm team but I did hear a lot about the Red Wings. I’ve never looked it up but maybe Detroit was the club towards the end?I never knew he played pro hockey either. I had known of the others. Several top Bruins legends played on the Edmonton Flyers.
