Also, for anyone who's driving, please please please please please PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. Shit always happens when you think you're safe. That goes for all you walkers bus riders and bike riders too.
Last night I came home after work around 2300 down Dover/Oakland against some steady rain, it was pretty dark along the way and all of a sudden, this car that was travelling on the opposite lane with what must've been bulbs pilfered from a lighthouse just blasted those doomsday death ray straight into my f***ing eyes. I had to stop immediately in the middle of this one lane road and I couldn't see jack shit for a good 10 seconds. Lucky for me there's nothing else around or behind. I really don't know if it's the height of that car, the actual brightness of the bulbs, the fact that some sideways assholes always turn on fog lights even when there's no fog, or all of the above. But in the end it proved to me for the 9000th time, that it is a safe bet to assume that every other driver on the road wants you dead.

Not only are vehicles getting bigger and heavier...but you have morons putting in illegal bulbs and offsetting them to aim further up.
That said, this year was so bad out there during the holidays. People seem to be getting more rabid and possessed.
