Honestly of all the teams we can lose to and not be frustrated it's the Canes. Classy team and fanbase, and they just play such a effective style that they almost never have games where they get outplayed. I still hope we get at least a point out of it. We just gotta win the third period.

Grieg gets hauled down by their goalie outside of the crease and gets punched in the face, no call.
Pinto puts his stick near that same goalie on the ice and it's a 2 minute penalty.

Stutzle tapping a stick is interference and no goal
Canes players pulling picks and screens - much more conventional penalties spelled out much more clearly in their dear f***ing rulebook? Zero called.

And then there's the icings. Even the Sportsnet crew probably watching Toronto on their other screen can't believe half of them - Stutzle touches the puck on the Canes blueline? Icing anyways! The Canes defender stops skating? Blow the whistle before the puck even crosses the redline and call it icing.

This crew actually needs to be investigated. We're making jokes about the betting but this is an all-time horrific job by 4 separate individuals. Why are any of them working in the NHL?

A mistake or two? Fine. Mistakes all night long and over a half dozen against one team in 40 minutes of refereeing? It's an actual disgrace.

Should be 1-1 without the refs interfering and altering the outcome. (Pinto penalty led to a goal against and stutzle goal should not have been called back and then penalized)
