As cool as this sounds, I think I'm mostly jealous that a woman was asked what she wanted, gave an honest and realistic answer, and that request is being fulfilled no questions asked. Almost unheard of.
Seriously though, have a great day! Sounds like a nice casual family experience that everyone can enjoy
My sons asked the Bride what she wanted for Mother’s Day. She picked to go on a hike with baby goats. Yeah, you read that right. We have a private family hike set up for this Saturday. Should be interesting.

Glad she’s feeling well enough to hike with goats.Im pretty proud of my boys. Although Ive always been. But ever since Nancy started her battle with cancer they really stepped up their game. Whatever mom wants , whenever she wants it, she gats.
We also have hit the senior stage of life where we literally dont need anything. Just experiences that maybe create a memory of us.

The Greatest Generation.
It is incredible what people did to stop the evil, so many young people sacrificed their lives to save us. A lot of people today have no idea what that sacrifice meant. The Greatest Generation.
The Weather Geeks podcast episode was about how the weather on June 6, 1944 played a crucial role in the invasion. They interview John Ross who wrote a book about the subject.
I did not have family in D-Day but it is my understanding that my grandfather on my dad’s side was in France shortly after.
Never forget the sacrifices they made to end the axis of evil and the pain and suffering they inflicted on millions of people simply for just existing.

My Dad was a Captain in the 26th Yankee Division (Mass NG) in Patton's 3rd Army and fortunately didn't arrive in France until early fall of '44.
He was in The Battle of The Bulge and the 26th sustained about a 50% casualty rate until the end of WW2.
He also had a brother who survived The Baatan Death March and came back alive.
Believe it or not, that's actually a relatively low number for most Infantry Divisions in the European Theatre. He was in The Battle of The Bulge and the 26th sustained about a 50% casualty rate until the end of WW2.
