I remember seeing a tv show sometime in the late 90's that did a feature on extreme body modifications. there was a dude who decided tattoos and piercings werent doing it for him anymore, and he really wanted a gunshot scar for some reason.

So the producers had him stand in front of a bunch of mattresses in a garage, had an ambulance waiting outside, and some guy shot him with IIRC a pretty hefty looking revolver. I think he held out his arm and they shot him in the fleshy part of his outer pec, so that the exit wound came out of his armpit.

Absolutely insane and im sure there's no way you could do that today. I have a vivid memory of him writhing around on the ground after they shot him, you could tell he instantly regretted it lol
