I will say Apple is generally very good at nearly perfecting technologies that other companies pioneered years prior. Like, if you don't want the latest tech but do want it functioning extremely well, go Apple. Their biggest problem is charging a premium higher price for perfected tech from 2-3 years ago

Dumbing down tech isn't perfecting it.
Many people just go for ease of use over ability. That's what Apple provides. A simplified less capable version, that's easy to use.

Their products end up mediocre by comparison. People pay for the name.

Not only does my Blue Quaker do this, but if I have my thumb sticking out when he slides over, he'll step up onto my thumb with both feet, then lean into my hand wanting me to hold him sideways so he can lay comfortably, using my index finger as a headrest.
