Orcas (the largest members of the dolphin family) have hunting techniques that are even more remarkable. Check out the video below. I also saw one where a seal was at the top of an iceberg hill, so it wasn't susceptible to being knocked off by a wave. An orca pod synchronized multiple runs at the berg so that it got rocking progressively stronger, to the point where the seal couldn't stay on and slid off. In that incident it seemed like the pod was teaching the young orcas how to hunt.

It makes me wonder how much we know about the intelligence and communication ability of animals like dolphins and orcas. Throw in octopuses, as well.
