It looks like they get the rejected American ones...

Yea, most of them are banned due to things like Yellow 5 and Red 40 which some people are mildly allergic to (as in rash/hives vs throat swelling shut)...rather than massive death risk that they make it seem like. I was actually allergic to Red 40 as a kid, which I found out the hard way after drinking Gatorade...now I have no problems as an adult
