No he isn't and last season in the AHL pretty much proves he does learn from his mistakes. He was suspended twice last season but both were fairly early. After that he settled down and did well.

Now he is in the NHL and he will learn where the boundaries are there too. He's going to drive other players nuts, but if he can figure it all out he will be one of those guys other fans can't stand but would be perfectly happy on their team.

I wanna know why Ross Colton only received a fine last year when he crosschecked Meier right in the face, just as recklessly. Same intent. Even worse because Colton has already boarded Luke and came and cross checked Meier on the face as he was skating away.

I guess not enough blood spilled... Or some other bias.

NHL DoPS has so many chances to be consistent, and yet, they never choose to, it's no wonder fans always cynical.
Probably because Meier didn't fall to the ice, DoPS will always judge more leniently if the player stays on their skates.

It's kind of funny that you go from calling a hockey player who annoys you a "literal psychopath" to implying a low stakes prediction is worth saving for later in case, I guess, it turns out that the guy you consider a literal psychopath doesn't learn a hockey lesson.

Intentionally or not, you gotta crack down on these kinds of plays.

The head area does not get enough respect. It's too normalized at this time to deliver high hits/crosschecks. Sometimes, they will happen regardless but you need establish the foundation that such plays are unacceptable. Only then can normalized habits start to change (gradually).

You and a Rangers poster have the same-ish avatar. Was about to jump on you for saying this while defending Rempe and Trouba in the past.:D
