This was hardly intentional, the first crosscheck was standard.

Likely a fine based on precedence.

I agree with your reasoning based on precedence. In a sane league trying to protect players heads though, this should be a game suspension at least.

Players are responsible for their sticks. He may not have been trying to cross check him in the face but that’s what ended up happening.

This was one of the easiest major penalties to asses, obviously it was a 5 minute major. I'd be shocked if he got more than 1 game though.

I felt terrible for the other guy when I saw him go down and and crawl on the ice holding his mouth with blood dripping :(

How does this get a hearing while Quinn Hughes attack from behind on Norris doesnt get a look from the league?

Double standard cuz the league protects its stars

Haha yup. Look at his history in the Q. Suspended 9 times in 3 years lol. Then twice in his only season in the AHL. Also models his game off of Marchand and Tkachuck.
Except Marchand and Tkachuk have skill. This little twit has none of the skill, or gumption, to back up being a turd.

Well considering he was over a PPG every year in junior except his rookie season where he was close. Then was drafted in the first round of the NHL draft. Then was close to PPG as an AHL rookie. Then made the NHL at 21. He definitely has skill.

I don’t think anyone thinks .73 ppg is close to ppg. I’d say needs to start with a .9x to be considered close, but has some promise.
