IMO this will possibly be one of the most entertaining WJC tournaments in a long time. The 6 Powers (Canada, U.S., Russia, Sweden, Czech Rep., Finland) are all very well capable of bringing home a medal this year and Switzerland is no push over either. Oh and don't forget the head to head McDavid, Eichel game. But every team is so closely matched its almost impossible to predict how its going to end up.

This is my crap shoot. Not sure if this works out, with the way playoffs will be.

Canada
US
Czech Rep./Sweden
Russia
Finland
Switzerland
Slovakia
Germany
Denmark

Canada vs Sweden Finals is my guess.

With Canada taking it. Canadas D is stacked with man power and with McDavid/Reinhart as the top 2 centres I think it's our year again.

1. Canada
2. Sweden
3. Czech Republic
4. USA

I think the Czechs will be a good team, got a good defence, a strong forward group with age on their size and I think the bronze medal game will be a close one but Czech's offence wins it.

USA has so much talent this year, its gotta to be them

USA
Canada
Sweden
Finland
Russia
Czech
Slovakia

More than Canada ?

Righttttttt... Good luck with that..

You name me your top 5 players and I will name you 5 better players..

We can start here

McDavid>Eichel

Canada/USA final. Canada wins, Eichel outscores McDavid, Oilers get confused and then select Noah Hanifin 1st overall.

Just depends on whose goalie is hot/cold I think between Sweden, Canada, USA, Finland.

Canada needs to get a working game system in place otherwise the Finns, Yanks and Swedes will win over them no matter McDavids and Reinhearts.

It's just wide open this year, more so than the last few years which have also felt wide open. I'm just excited to get it started, it's the highlight of the holiday season imo. :)

The Czechs will grab a medal this year imo. Not sure about the colour though...

It's not about the best players, it about the best team. Canada has had the best players for a while at these tournanments yet has imploded and lost because they failed to play a strong team game.

USA
Russia - I've a weird feeling Russia will come out strong, no idea what I base that on though.
Canada
Finland
Sweden
Czech
