Guaranteed win: dress a new forward, scratch the prior one.

Game 1: Jesper Fast (win)
Game 2: (loss)
Game 3: Dan Carcillo (win)
Game 4: (loss)
Game 5: JT Miller (win)
Game 6: (loss)
Game 7: ???

If I've heard of the ref before, it's a bad ref. I have heard of Peel and Rooney and can match faces to their name. Therefore they suck.

Dunlop thinks Talbot is hot.

I am left with one of two conclusions.

Either Dunlop has observed Talbot playing recently in some league I am unaware of or he thinks Talbot is cute.

I think Carcillo in tonight, JT out....thats just my hunch

Anyone know of the starting lineup for the game tonight? I don't know if Vigneault is willing to put Carcillo in there for a critical game like this based on the worry that he could take bad penalties and lose his cool. I want Carcillo in the lineup, but I worry Vigneault won't put him in.

Since the Rangers inaugural season, they are 2-0 in Game 7s in which Stu Bickel dresses.

Is he still stashed on our playoff roster somewhere? Scratch Miller for Stu?

As an islander fan, I really don't see how you guys could lose this with a goalie like henrik at home with your fans. Just keep that dirtbag Simmons to the outside.

He's still on the roster on THN, in the minors though. Not sure if he's on the playoff roster though. Get Stu here ASAP!

Guys - I think that Reggie Dunlop is trolling [frustrated] - he's being sarcastic:sarcasm:. His tone is highly sardonic.:naughty: Are you taking him seriously?:help:

Although I agree my post was sarcastic, I'm not posting in that fashion in order to troll. The Rangers as well as hockey are a passion for me, and I attempt to analyze the game to the best of my ability. I am a season ticket holder, and my family has been in possession of that ticket line since 1980. After my mother's labor, the doctor's cleared me, and I was brought home from the hospital in a hand knitted baby Barry Beck Jersey that was knitted for me by a friend of my mother.

I've found that when I try to critically analyze the Rangers, my posts fall on deaf ear, so I tried to take a comedic approach to my analysis in order to better convey my message. The post I made was in regard to fans thinking that Lundqvist is the cause of our problems in this series. I blended simple analysis into a painfully sarcastic post. When a few posters completely missed the point of my argument, I became frustrated, so I played along.

Anyway, I don't want to be a bore, so I will now revert to my humor approach to respond to your post"

Duh! :propeller

We don't need Nash to score! We need Lundqvist to play better or AV need to give Talbot a serious look as a starter in tonight pivotal game 7.

The Rangers 3 losses in this series had the following scores:
Game 2 4-2 L (one empty net goal) (GA Crapqvist 3)
Game 4 2-1 L
Game 6 5-2 L (one empty net goal) (GA Crapqvist 4)

If we take the adjusted GA total into account and divide by the number of games, Crapqvist has a 3 GAA in our losses:help:

Although Talbot hasn't played in an NHL playoffs, his regular season GAA was 1.64 in 21 games. I think his 2.68 GAA average in the AHL in 116 regular season games and his 2.17 GAA GAA in 10 playoff games are outliers.

Big names players need to shape up or ship out! If our boys scored the same number of goals in the three losses and Crapqvist only let in 1 in game 2, shutout game 4, and only let 1 in game 6, this series would have been over.

Talbot or any decent goaltender could of one those games for us without Nash being dominant. All they would need in those games was a 0.667 GAA, and we wouldn't even be discussing this.

Send that bum back to Sweden were he belongs so that I can shell out more than the average cost of a monthly mortgage in the second round! Bring on the Pens!

I think this is sarcasm.
