Lundqvist is going to be in net, no doubt about it.

Hope we get a victory here. I cannot stand the Flyers.

And if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. No way you start Talbot over Lundqvist in game 7.

The playoffs are all about momentum. A coach has to be a man and go with the hot player!

Are we really referring to Lundqvist as Crapqvist now?

I think the fact that this so called multiple finalist and Vezina winner ( a culturally biased voting process if you asked me) couldn't keep his GAA below 1.00 speaks for itself.

I mean, if you take his 3 losses, and remove the stats from the one he played the best in, it paints a really clear picture of how he's played in the series. At least that's how I read the logic from the long anti-Lundqvist post.

That's exactly my point! But I still think you are a wrong when you said we shouldn't play Talbot.

Lets get Nashty tonight!

I can feel it! Coming in the air tonight...hold on! (The legendary Phil Collins)

i like how people take his stats from his bad games and say hes awful... those games he had a team that couldnt score and had zero heart infront of him. the goalie can only do so much

No! As it's been astutely said on these boards, today's NHL is different. You don't need an elite goaltender anymore! Crapqvist's contract is a nightmare!

Not sure how to feel about this. Does the quick turn around benefit the flyers who clearly built some momentum last night? Or is it good for the Rangers who are hungry to prove last night was a fluke.

1st goal will be crucial as always. Don't take bad penalties. Don't give Giroux chances to dive. Win the ****ing game. That is all.

Even if Giroux dives, in a Game 7, I doubt they call anything. I feel they are going to let the players play.

Nash won't do a damn thing this game. Even without him I think we have a pretty decent chance as long as we skate fast, stay engaged and don't fall behind early.

We need Lundqvist to come up huge, MSL to be MSL, Zucc to make some of those dreamy passes, and hopefully get a bit of home cooking from the refs.

The two most exciting words in sports - Game Seven.

Except, of course, when you're the team that lost game six!

Let's Go Rangers!!!

And I'll take the other one. We can sit together. But If Hank gets scored on and I say "**** you Lundqvist!" Please don't rip a chair out of the stands and beat me to death with it.

hahahahahaha

From NBC

This is the 11th time an NHL playoff series has played Games 6 and 7 on consecutive days, with the Game 6 winner going on to win exactly half of seventh games. The most recent occurrence was last season’s Rangers-Capitals first-round matchup, in which New York posted back-to-back shutouts in Game 6 (at home) and Game 7 (5-0 win at Washington). During the 2013-14 regular season, New York and Philadelphia had similar success in the second game of back-to-backs (Rangers 9-4-0; Flyers 9-4-1)

Home teams are a collective 31-14 (.689 win%) thus far this postseason, but Eastern Conference teams are just 11-10 at home. Home teams have won 90 of 149 games all-time (60%) in Game 7s, and the Game 6 winner has gone on to win the seventh game 72 times (48%)

The Rangers-Flyers series is the only one of the first round that has seen no game reach overtime. Dating to 2007, the Rangers have lost 11 of their last 14 playoff games that reached sudden death; during that same span, the Flyers are 8-7 in OT playoff games

I wouldn't, but I would explain to you how he didn't have a chance on it because the defensemen missed his man, or something along those lines. :handclap:

Wheres Asham when ya need him? Mason is due for another crap game.

LOL was it Asham's goal in game seven last year when Holtby had his pads on the ice in position, but somehow a trap door opened up in his pads and the puck when through and into the net?

Really with the asking if Hank is starting?

Did you hear AV after game? Using his usual convoluted language he stated the following:

1. We play well and had momentum in 1st, but failed to score
2. Our goalie let us down in the 2nd.
3. We could not regain any momentum trailing.

Play Talbot!!!

Absolute insanity.

Look at Hank's game 7 numbers. You play that guy every time.

I will agree with all 3 of those points being the truth.

How does that say that Talbot should start, though?

Whats up boyz and girls???? First time poster, long time reader. Been a Rangers fan for over 30 years, but i guess you can call me a rookie on HFB. Lets throw all that negativity crap out the window today, and just kick some philly arse tonight!!!! LETS GO RAN-GERS!!!!!

Welcome to the monkey house!

And hell yes. We'll have plenty of time to rehash negative points if they lose. For now, let's have a little faith.

I have a feeling the final score is going to be 3-2. I just don't know who ends up being the winner.
