Score an early goal and play D, perfect game 7 on the road guys. Good luck.

Anyway, this looked like a Torts period. Mostly keep them to the outside, Hank makes the saves he needs to make, lots of blocked shots, lots of time pinned in our own zone. We MIGHT sneak a win like that tonight but we'll never win against the Bruins playing like this, probably not even Montreal.

The negativity is well deserved. That wasn't a very good period despite the Boyle goal. You can't go into a shell and expect your goaltender to bail you out the next 40 minutes.

Yeah, but it's not just any goaltender.... It's Lundqvist.

Certainly nervous, but this is pretty much the blueprint for every game 7 the Rangers have won for the past few years. That being said they need a better 2nd.

I always kind of feel like its a little bit of a let down to dominate a period like the pens did and come out still losing. So hopefully the Rangers can come out and throat punch them with an early goal.

I think soem are going overboard. As muxh as i ahte the Pens you ahd to expect they would have some juice in the first period. Despite thier good play they are down 1-0 so that has to be demoralizing. Once we get that 2nd goal we will be fine

I can't figure Mint out. He's the biggest proponent of puck possession stats yet in a period where they were pinned inside their zone most of the time, people are being too negative?

When does Pittsburgh start to get really desperate and send 4 deep?

I have to imagine if the Rangers can hold for another 10 minutes and maybe get another, Pittsburgh is going to either throw everything they have or fold like the crybabies they are.

Then, there should be some good opportunities for some odd-man rushes and hopefully bury them.

Road game 7 against one of the most talented offensive teams in the league, if not the most talented.

And you're complaining because we're up 1-0 and gave up no real high quality chances other than maybe the fanned Crosby backhand.

Really?

Why even play the 2nd and 3rd periods? They're gonna lose somehow and eventually anyways.

Truth be told, both Kreider and Crosby could have gotten called there but 9 times out of 10 they are gonna call the first hold...with the 10th time being when Crosby initiates the hold.

Tonight, it does not matter if we play like ****. We are up by 1 and we are winning. That is all that matter tonight, winning.

Not true at all, we've had some of the best possession games of the series in the 3 game 7 wins at MSG. The game against the Caps was closer to even, though ironically that was their biggest margin of victory.

You are always negative. In fact i ahve never actually seen you happy with this team

I'm not the only one complaining. And this is not me complaining. Have you not seen me complain before? I'm glad with the lead, but they have to pick it up.
