1 goal ain't gonna get it done…they need to score again and again right after. That period was garbage. They better come out next and learn how to breakout and keep some sustained pressure in their zone.

Yeah - way too much time spent in their own end and while they didn't allow much, playing like that for 60 minutes will get you two things: exhausted and on the wrong end of the scoreboard.

Lundqvist looked good. Team took advantage of their opportunities.

Penguins were the better team. Puck was glued to our end. We need to find a way to establish more time in the offensive zone because we are not going to shut them out. It will take at least three goals to win this one. Need to find that next level.

if we don't start with more sustained pressure in the offensive zone we won't win this game...can't win up a game with constant chipping the puck out the d zone and dumping in the O zone....that type of play is when we have a decent lead late in the game trying to hold on...not for now

They're not playing with the desperation they were playing with the last 2 games. Pittsburgh is going to come as hard as they can with everything on the line. I'm just hoping we can get lucky and score another before they score their first. There is too much time left and despite the goal I'm not crazy about the Rangers play so far.
