Definitely a win is a win but if its 0-0 going into the third or 1-1 how confident will you really be this team will score a huge goal the way their top scorers have been scoring?

I've realized I have 2 options leading into this game: I can either be a pessimist and have a defeatist attitude going into tonight or I can be an optimist and believe that tonight is the night we turn it all around. I'm choosing the latter.
It's not impossible to win 3 in a row. We are a good team. We weren't #1 in the league by accident. Game 5 is at home. Win at home and send it back to DC. The pressure goes onto the cRaps. They won't want to come back to NY for a game 7. They will feel the pressure to close it out at home. Score early, put the seed of doubt into the team/fans/arena. Bring it home for game 7.
We still have Henrik Lundqvist. The guy is a big game goalie. If we get 3 goals, we'll win. We get 2 and we still have a good chance. I expect Dom Moore to score tonight. He always seems to be one of the guys that comes through in the clutch. Fast has looked good and I wouldn't be surprised if he finally pots one tonight or plays a big role in a Kreider/Stepan goal.

I don't see a worse option than having nash and MSL together. And also wasting Hayes with Moore.
We are scoring deprived. These lines didn't get the job done for 2 games.

MTL put on a clinic of how to play an elimination game and get things going the right direction. Win or lose, if we score less than 3 tonight I'll be very unconvinced moving forward. Plant the doubt. But in any case, it's been real this year.
