It’s probably one of the hardest things on the offensive side of the puck, when you do get frustrated, not to let it seep in.
We have to do our best to not be frustrated by it. Maybe it comes down to maybe getting a fluky one that bounces off a shin pad and opens up the floodgates.
- Derek Stepan

We didn’t have this problem scoring all year.
That was a big goal from our line, and we needed it, but they seem to have an answer for everything we do.
- Derick Brassard

Our team is playing well, in my estimation at both ends of the rink.
I could simplify it. It’s as easy as they’ve been able to make us pay for a couple of our mistakes, our turnovers, and we haven’t been able to do it.
We’ve forced them into quite a few turnovers. We haven’t been able to make them pay for it.
As much as I think our game is good, at the end of the day, we’re down, 3-1, and we’ve got to find a way to be better.
- Alain Vigneault

WE ARE NOT DONE YET!!!!!

Win tonight and that puts a ton of pressure back on the Caps to close out in game 6.

Winning the series down 3-1 will be tough but its not an impossible feat...especially if you are the higher seed and 2 of the 3 games are at home..

Need to take care of business tonight!!

Come on you idiots, someone step up and be a hero.

Can't believe it took an elimination game for AV to get his head out of his ass and change the D pairings.

Hopefully they watched Montreal last night.

Show some pride. Go out there and take it one shift at a time. Don't look forward, just deal with the now. The now is putting forth your best effort tonight.

Is this true? I haven't read anything about the lines/pairings for tonight.

Not saying this is a must win. But I will say that if we want to have a shot this year, losing tonight would make it difficult.

Yes,

“@HartnettHockey: Lines remain the same at today's #NYR skate. Staal-Boyle and Klein-Yandle are the new d-pairs behind unchanged pair of McDonagh-Girardi.â€

I'm in utter disbelief how long it took AV to change d-pairs that were clearly not working.

Hopefully he wasn't too late.

Alain's comments capture the situation very well.
Tonight they will capitalize on Washington's turnovers and give Trotz and company something to contemplate as they head onward to Game 6 :handclap::handclap::handclap:

Here
Law of averages alone suggest a Rangers win tonight, does it not? The Rangers lost 3 in a row once all season and it was in Games 2-4.

Can we get a friggin bounce?

If we don't do exactly what montreal did last night I will be disappointed. No excuses.
