Not sure what the complaint was about McDonagh was on that goal. He was going to be back easily except Girardi ended up directly in the way of where McD tried to go.

Additionally Brassard is really annoying me this game with his complete refusal to shoot the puck.

McDonagh was in the corner, lost the puck and it led to the rush. He didn't get back. Defense 101 - if you're going to jump into the play, you better get the **** back

they have to be smarter. be physical when you can. Pouliot went for a hit with McD deep and he was the covering forward.

He needed to get back on that play.
