McTavish awarded goal and given goalie interference penalty - correct call?

it’s amazing what you think a player can accomplish in the split second of realizing he scored to getting drilled. He’s not standing there waiting for someone to hit him into the goalie and then falling on him. No chance anyone who has watched the highlight of this exact play and thinks McTavish did anything there in purpose has played the game.
This is my opinion and a lot can happen in a split second. It's not that they practice this it's that their instincts kick in to do this especially since they always get checked when in front. Running the goaltender in hockey is more common than taking out the pitcher in baseball but not as bad as the NFL trying to injure the quarterback or even the kicker.

Call would be fine if McTavish had voluntarily run into the goalie rather than getting pushed in.
