I said 1-1.5 over 2 years in the other thread. We could've squeezed him if he was an RFA if we really wanted to, but that's a good value contract as is.

Pretty similar to how Bunting got started in the NHL. A hot streak in the 2nd half of a season the year before UFA status which got them both a 2 year deal.

Hope he has a nice jump in production next year like Bunting did!

Now that he’s locked up he can get minutes with M&M.
