He may be worth that kind of a haul but it doesn't work for the King's. That is going all in with a pair of 9's.

No, this isn't even a fun thought exercise. One man shows will never win a Cup and Edmonton can't even come close with Draisaitl and a slew of other high draft choices.

They still don't have a good enough defense or goalie. You can score 5 a game , but when you give up 7, thats an issue. Their 5 on 5 play wasn't good either. They won a lot via their pp.

So the Kings trade every promising piece they have for McDavid, who can't get it done in Edmonton WITH Draisaitl, and then we'd have him without Draisaitl... seems legit!

To be fair, the Kings have Kopitar and Doughty. Edmonton’s issue wasn’t necessarily offense, while the Kings’ certainly is.
