The appeal process is a joke. The “judge “ is Bettman, so in effect you are asking him to over rule his own staff, in effect, making him state that his own, great DOPS staff were wwwwwwwwwrong (said in my best Fonzie accent).Huh.

At least the league looked at each incident separately. Oh wait... The giraffe purposely tried to decapitate Bouch, completely unprovoked, and he gets the same number of games as Connor. To top it off that usesless plug is one of worst dmen in the league, and their team is actually better off without him. Call up Brown for Thursday, with instructions to offer Garland a free dental inspection. You're gonna get suspended, make it worthwhile.

That's some bullshit. I suspect he got a harsher sentence than Mathews due to the elbow in the minny game which a lot of people were complaining about.
Myers should get 6+ games considering his was much more premeditated and malicious, but I doubt it'll happen.

Create the situation in which your premier player faces tackling for 15 secs, all allowed, as usual, and then throw the book at the best player in the world and of the best player in your league for things that conspired to have happen by terrible enforcement of rules.
This is basically the league consequencing itself. Less ratings for the duration McD is out, and a dummy like Myers who no team would miss gets the same penalty for a much worse infraction that was not even during play.

Myers’ crosscheck was much more egregious and premeditated than McDavid’s. Garbage league trying to stick it to our media/organization for dare saying the refs need to call penalties

While I don’t disagree with this, embarrassing the league through this very public action wouldn’t end well for the Oilers or Connor. Unfortunately they will just have to move on publicly.
But Stan, JJ and Katz better be roasting that NYC lawyer with heated and numerous phone calls to let him know how pissed they are with his ineffective leadership.
This is the part that pisses me off the most about the suspension. Whatever McDavid got, Myers should get double. One play is in a battle in the heat of the moment. Durring play. The other is after the play and completely unprovoked. One is to the side of the head. One is directly to the front of the face. They aren’t the same at all.

Mario Lemieux was right when he was fed up with this horseshit league. Just keep letting your stars drag sewer rats all over the ice. Maybe if you enforce your rules and McDavid draws six penalties every game people would follow the rules and your game would be more appealing. I’m gonna stay here on our page with my opinions. Because I always feel bad after I tell someone to suck a bag of you know what’s and that’s what’s gonna happen if I venture out into the mains.

Its interesting that Mcd is getting the same suspension as a serial offender. Also that the McD action was in the heat of the moment, during play. The Myers action was long after the play and had nothing to do with the run of action. The Myers thing was premeditated and unprovoked.
Lastly Myers suspension is basically nothing to a team. Doesn't even hurt them. How could Canucks be worse?
What this encourages clubs to do is just load up on some dummy to take out an allstar PPG D. League will even up whatever happens.
