He’s still in his own tier, his playoff numbers separate him from MacKinnon And Kucherov which speaks volumes because of those guys are incredible playoff performers.

McDavid is skating and shooting better than I've seen since the end of the '23 regular season. I don't think he was ever fully healthy last year and was worried at the start of this season when it still looked like he had things that were nagging him, but he seems to be back to normal. He does typically start "slow" (for his standards) as well for whatever reason.
