28 points in his last 15 games. Just came off a long playoff run where he was the first skater to win the Conn Smythe in a losing effort in 50 years. Pacing right up with the best in the league despite missed games and injury troubles over the last 1.3 seasons,

I think he's just fine.
Might be nitpicking, but 48 years, not 50 (Reggie Leach in 1976).

Exactly. But that proves my point. Regress or not he’s no longer in his own tier. Kuch and Mack are right there.
He’s still in his own tier, his playoff numbers separate him from MacKinnon And Kucherov which speaks volumes because of those guys are incredible playoff performers.
