What responsibility?Personal responsibility is something adults are aware of. Unless you think 97 has the mind of a child.
mcdavid living so rent free in their heads they switch up their moralsThey a soapbox to stand on to virtue signal, but can't do it when it involves the oilers, so they flip flop and get outraged.
Yes, tackle and pin him for 15 seconds and refs don't make call then chop down the necksIn summary can't touch McDavid if you do he has the right to lumber you in the face area.
in summary, hauling down the best player in the world then holding on for dear life isn't a penalty in the NHLIn summary can't touch McDavid if you do he has the right to lumber you in the face area.
deservedly soIn summary can't touch McDavid if you do he has the right to lumber you in the face area.
Call one of the 8 penalties on garland and it wouldn’t have happened. Zebras are so bad at their jobs.
Should they blow the play down while Edmonton is in possession to fast track Garland to the box?Mcdavid punched him because Garland is laying on Mcdavids left arm and won’t let go. Garland doesn’t hold him out of rage, he’s intentionally and surprisingly calmly holding Mcdavid all he can to keep him out of the play. I’m sure he wouldn’t been fine with getting called, the clock was running out. They collided and fell down with Mcdavid on top, Garland holds Mcdavids arm and won’t let him off so Mcdavid punches him in the head to get away. They stand up and Garland does it all over again.
Garland did what he had to do to get the win but he should’ve had multiple interference calls. Mcdavid has an over the top but not really surprising reaction. They’re letting Garland do whatever he wants.
Because 5 on 4 when there's wide open lanes on the side Garland was supposed to be is a lot better of an opportunity than him getting up in that spot. 100% the right move to stay down and take Garland out of the play while Bouchard is heading down hill.why would he intentionally stay down when the Oilers had full possession of the puck?
Oh well, conner will make good use of suspension and come back ready for the final stretch of the season. I imagine both get suspended long enough so they miss the rematch, rightfully so.mcdavid living so rent free in their heads they switch up their morals
Sounds like a high stick to me.McDavid's stick hit Hronek in the sternum, not the face...
Well, we know consistency isn't the DOPS's strong suit. Matthews' might have been looked at as more vicious as well. His was at an unprotected part of the head and neck area. McDavids was at the helmet. It is a small difference, but it could make a difference.
and suddenly the hockey is too soft crowd have become the crybabies.....what happened?
I guess if you fast forward past the part where McDavid interfered first and was dry humping Garland.Garland hauled down McDavid first
Don't see Myers getting held and grabbed by Bouchard anywhere.. Myers should get suspended for first elbowing bouichard after the whistle and then for 5 more games for his crosscheck.Absolutely shouldve called one of those, but I dont see anywhere in the rulebook that says if theres a missed call its OK to crosscheck someone in the face... Maybe you can point me to where you are seeing that...
Should be a suspension for sure for both of them. If only Myers gets one or McDavid gets less games then we can confirm the league is biased in his (and other superstars') favour. Not that thats not been blatantly obvious for decades.
Right after McDavid and Garland hit each other, Garland starts holding on to McDavid's arm. Not defending McDavid's actions with the cross check, but also the first time a refs hand goes up is after the McDavid cross check. I guess mugging the best player in the league for 10 seconds is fine, but tapping an Avalanche player is a penalty. No consistency at all.
lol no....a 5 on 4 without McDavid in the play is far more beneficial to the Canucks then the Oilers....hence him holding on for dear life to his armBecause 5 on 4 when there's wide open lanes on the side Garland was supposed to be is a lot better of an opportunity than him getting up in that spot. 100% the right move to stay down and take Garland out of the play while Bouchard is heading down hill.

No, but if the opportunity is there the Oilers could have just shot the puck at a Canuck for them to play it or Demko to get the PP. Neither ref decided to call it so they kept trying score. You made a poor argument...Should they blow the play down while Edmonton is in possession to fast track Garland to the box?
