Why are you so obsessed with attempting to emasculate a professional hockey player who has been in the NHL for 10 years just because you personally have deemed him not tall enough?

Garland doesn't need my or anyone else's help to emasculate him, he does it himself by swinging first and then running to the principal. Everyone in the NHL knows he's cowardly after that pitiful display.

Never would have guessed, considering you mention his height in every single post. Running interference is in no way equitable to cross checking a guy in the face. Garland didn't "swing first" in fact he didn't swing at all; he took the crosscheck and didn't miss a beat. Not sure how you consider this emasculating himself. Parros isn't intervening because the "Short, Weak Garland" needs protection from the "Big Bad McDavid" and Garland obviously didn't call him up and beg him to suspend McDavid. He is doing it because the play was literally an automatic suspension, and it is literally his job to decide on the discipline needed in this situation. So, so odd that people are so focused on a guys build, rather than the illegal actions that take place on the ice, from both teams.

I think you have to suspend McDavid for at least two games, which also ensures there's no shenanigans when the Oilers and Canucks play again on Thursday.
I honestly dont know why the Oilers would even want him in that game. Last thing theyd want is someone cheap shotting him and an injury happening.

Be surprised if both dont get 2 or 3 games.

McDavid also has history. Won’t be his first suspension for a head shot.

1 suspension for check to the head
1 questionable hit a few days ago
2 questionable hits last night.

Myers suspended in 2012 for boarding and fined last season for an elbow.

Tweets are saying that with McDavid’s 2019 suspension he’s actually considered a repeat offender

The reasoning both get the same will be McDavid happened during the heat of the play. Myers happened after the whistle. I almost guarantee it.

Curious if they will also review Garland holding and pinning McDavid and asking the refs why they did not call the blatant penalites
There’s no chance of that happening with garland.

The refs, whatever happens there is likely not going to be made public if anything does.

It will be 2-3. Matthews will be the comparison. 3 games if they label McDavid a repeat offender. And Myers will get the exact same.
2 for McDavid, 3 for Myers.

I think the retaliatory headshot was worse, but Myers was just braindead and did for what reason?

For... being the recipient of an illegal crosscheck to the head?
Im not suggesting that's how it should happen, but look at the attitude of some of the people here saying that it's basically Garlands fault he got cross checked, because he interfered with mcdavid, therefore had it coming.

As he shouldn’t be protected, hes no different than any of the other players on the ice. All players deserve equal treatment.

Sure, they could suspend McDavid, but I have no problem with him standing up for himself in a disproportionate manner so next time someone wants to give him the rough treatment they’ll think again lest McDavid snap on them. A lot of old school superstars talked about this dynamic in the “old days”. You have to let people know there’s a price to pay for engaging with you.

Looks to me like Garland is holding onto McDavid's left arm?
He was, and it was pretty obvious watching the game live. It also hasn't been explained by those who are arguing otherwise why McDavid, the best player in the NHL, would take himself out of the play with 20 seconds left in the game, being down by 1 goal, to tie up Conor f***ing Garland lol.
