In a press conference not long ago Mark Chipman revealed that Trouba was 3rd on the Jets draft board in 2012 so its safe to say Winnipeg felt lucky that day. Chevy is a tough guy to read but he looked really happy after that selection.

Trouba has a wicked bomb from the point and can juke and jive down low. There's a lot to love about his offensive game. He also plays with a very big mean streak, and is so calm and poised with the puck. He will be one of our top 2 D soon.

He already played most TOI in the last 25 games of the season, so he already is, IMO.

1. Toby 2. Trouba 3. Bogosian

and I'd bet 10 bucks that it's 1. Trouba 2. Toby 3. Bogosian after next season.
