USA Hockey are doing some good things with their national teams. It doesn't seem to matter who dresses up for the jersey, there's always a distinct style or system and the players know how to play in it.

They've established a status quo. Speed, skill and chemistry. It's consistent.
It took several years, but they should be proud of that.

And they have all the basic elements of modern hockey covered. Skileld puck moving defensemen can move the puck on break-outs with short and long passes or skate with it, puck is moved in general with passing (compared to Canada) and with speed. It could also help there aren't any "big egos" involved and less pressure. I think it was last year some player said in an interview that they're having fun/enjoying hockey for a couple of more weeks and trying to represent their country the best way they can, win games and see how far that goes.
