Well, Germany had to cope with the loss of around 20 players, if I am right. Tough year for them. The announcers on the Czech and Slovak TVs keep on complaining that they expected more from Germans, that German hockey is regressing and it is really starting to get annoying, I mean mainly from the Slovak TV, when I look at our performance... I do not really want to imagine our rostet without almost 20 key players right now.

I think you exaggerate a little, just a little though, there are at least 10 players that would play and don't because injuries and stuff.

Kind of dumb if the announcers aren't aware of that.

As for Sprukts, he is still very good at faceoffs and board work, a decent passer and a great backchecker with that huge stick of his. Speed and soft hands are attributes he never had. He is really fat thought.
