I absolutely love this new generation of swedish hockey players. OEL, Klefbom and Klingberg are studs who can make plays in all three zones and skate like the wind. And upfront the ever-confident Filip Forsberg and everyone else. So fun to watch.

This is true, fantastic young guys with a bright future. Fun hockey to Watch but swden havn't been stellar defending a lead soo ..

+1. New generation are much better skaters.

For sure. The reformed Swedish hockey school comes out in full force with this generation. Sooo many players who have superb skating, which also happens to be key if you want to be effective in hockey today.

Its a matter of stepping up a gear. Easy to get down in tempo after playing Latvia and such. Swedens main strenght is skating so the Canadians simply have to stop being so lazy and match that skating.
