They took care of Canada and owned the Czechs.
No reason to think they can't handle Russia and if I'm not mistaken, Russia doesn't have that good of a track record against Finland lately.

Finland has been pretty good at crushing the gold medal dreams of Russia, especially when coached by Westerlund.

It still might be contending for the "worst team award" but the main reason Finns hated this team was that they didn't play like "Lions", they didn't play the team game. For round robin, the team played like a group of individuals, all trying to be THE star.

When the play-offs started, then miraculously they started playing as a team. Maybe it was the fact that they almost dropped from top eight, or maybe the coaches yelled their guts out, I don't know. Whatever it was, it worked.

And if they continue playing like this, they have a chance. Especially if Rinne puts on another shutout performance
