Very true.
Funny part is that last year best producer was Kim Staal with 1G 4A
This year who is best producer now - Kim Staal with 1G 4 A (since his “goal“ this game was an assist).

One should think the NHL'ers could do better than a DEL-2 veteran.

That's the thing, those players don't knowhow to play With those euro players and vice versa, and we dont have a coach that Cares enough.. New Danish coach, new system!

I have noticed that we have no zone entries from center position. It's often Bødker on the wing or a tip in into the offensive zone leading to nothing since we are not aggressive enough (often Bjørkstrand is the exception there).
When we last had awesome offense was 2010 and got a QF - cause = Peter Regin and his ability to puck carry with speed. Regin hasn't played WC since then.
But his skill set is something we really lack on big ice.

Let's give the man some time. :laugh: ... reading that he wasn't sure about what to expect of players coming home and relying on others information (DIU is bunch of amateurs, not really to be relied on :laugh:) is worrying. Can understand you can't plan on using anyone but those in your camp or on the team during the season, but there's only 11 players in the NHL/AHL, plus some in NA junior. Get the games on DVD FFS! He's hired full time, right?

Next time around he'll have had two years to learn about danish hockey and the players, then you can call for his head! :laugh:

We severly lack team iq.. The French scored almost 5 identical goals. Cut in from Winther wing With a drop pass or cross pass and shoot.. And not just in this game.. How Could we not prepare for that..

No one of you mentioned Ehlers our biggest talent EVER!! and Bjorkstrand. It is still a mystery to me how then can be let out of the team. Especially when you have guys from the third best swedish league or second best german league running around. You would think that both Bjorkstrand and Ehlers could easily be better than Poulsen or Staal. And its not like we havent got players that cant play checking line either. Both Hansen and Bødker has done that with succes in their clubs.

Something has to happen, this is everything but ok and we can't just do the usual Danish thing and just Say oh Well... That's why we Fall behind in sports !

Oh I totally agree on Ehlers and Oliver Bjørkstrand. We had just debated that alot before so I wouldn't take it up again. So since you have it is totally incomprehensible to be as well since coach want to play a more offensive system - and these two guys are über offense. The two best danish ever in the NA youth leagues.

We played better for last 10min in second period and until french 3'rd goal in the third period, but otherwise it was really bad.
The problem is when its bad its really bad and when good, not good enough.
