Half-Norwegian, half-Czech living in Denmark. Most of the year I love Denmark - but in hockey, my dislike for Denmark has a Scandinavian and a Slavic front.

OK - new plan. Same thing happens as with the Czechs when they lost to Norway in 2010. They get their **** together and beat Russia in the final.

Just managed to see the shootout and highlights of the goals.
What a miracle. Finally we get some luck - that second Danish goal must be a divine plaster on all these Norwegian wounds through the years.
Simon Nielsen actually looked steady in goal, so maybe all these matches are slowly bringing him back in form.

In 2010 we beat Switzerland, and in 2012 we lost to Russia in the quarterfinal (even if a loss, just being in the quarterfinal and playing good against them was good enough).

Being half Norwegian and Half Czech, success for both countries (of course within their own leagues) are equally important. A Czech victory would at least fix some of the bitterness of Norway's loss to France. But this really ruined my day.


Actually I am not sure what would be worse - seeing Norway lose to Denmark on 17th of May or the Czechs just losing to Denmark. Both are worthy of drinking a couple of bottles of Slivovice to forget this day ever existed.

I know the 200th anniversary of our constitution is something worth celebrating... but now I really don't feel like it.
