MÃ¥rts teams show one consistent attribute -> chaotic defense, less than stellar defensive zone positioning. It was the same when he was in charge of the juniors. I've never been a fan of his but he's not the worst coach around either. Ho hum..

Oh well, I thought the Russians were slightly better and deserved it.

Plz let this be true the worst thing that can happen is if Canada win the gold medal tbh:D If it is a Russian - Canada game I'm going full Russian mode:D

But for now I'm going to cheer for Czech:)! Want Jagr to win gold in his home countery!
 
I thought all swedes were quite and shy. :sarcasm:

I hope Russia will not make that same mistake going forward.

This team has no defensive players, but they decide to hold the result and play in their own zone. :facepalm:
 
Well Swedes are a bunch of losers anyway (except me, I'm a ****ing rock star).

I don't think that anybody who watched that game is sure that Russia was the better team. Sweden is scary good when they turn on the power. In the 3rd period they were all over Russia, but we got a good bounce toward the end of the period to make it 4-3.

For Russia, Bob was shaky all day, but Malkin was a monster out there, and Tarasenko is starting to hit his stride. Also, kudos to Mozyakin for continuing to be dangerous. The D held up as well as it could, and today, it was luckily just good enough.
 
two needless powerplays two goals, glad it made not so big torubles. and why znarok at the end commanded team to play from defence... strange decision

That's true, it was a good effort against a top team. Still it leaves a bitter taste when so many of our supposed stars decline basically the only tournament where people back home are able to watch them play.

yeah, i also think it´s a bit unfair to the Team which plays in an other Arena than in the group stage

Hehe yeah i know what you mean! they can serriously **** off and take a look on players like Malkin and Ovechkin etc that allways shows up that take pride in playing for their home countery:)
 
Thanks swede for good 1/4 final. Russian team again was exhausted in third. And literally choked as I said. Thanks God Malkin make that tip in. Otherwise Sweden would win this game. Something wrong with fitness. Every game.
