Make or break time Slovakia!

EDIT: Ouch, didn't see the Belarus game. Well now you're playing for your honour atleast.

I couldn't possibly be less excited about the outcome of this game. For the second straight year, our final game in the tourney is meaningless. I hope no one will call the departing coach's tenure a success. He was a one-hit wonder. All the best to him in his retirement, though.

We missed QF 4 years straight, with Vujtek we went to QF 2 times in 4 years, and even got one silver. How is that a one hit wonder? I just don't get your thinking. We can't think of QF as almost a sure thing with the players we have.

You call getting into Worlds quarter-finals a "hit"? :D Goodness gracious. You should apply for a job in the management of Slovak hockey – they love lowered standards and expectations, too.

The departing coach is a one-hit (silver) wonder, no more. The other play-off participation (for a single game) was extremely lucky, too, and the most important event in his tenure, Sochi, was an utter disaster. Let's move on.

Seems like it's you having certain issues with reading comprehension, not me. Wake up, I know how painful it is, but right now, getting into top8 is a success for us and it can't be taken as granted.

I hate lowering standards and expectations, but for ****'s sake, stop blaming everyone but the players, when they are definitely the biggest issue.

Connor Helly is amazing this tourney congratulations Jets fans hope he fixes the biggest issue I see with your team.

Guess USA has played quite well this year?

Much better than they were expected. On Paper they looked like a 3rd 4th spot in the group play would be considered a success. No one was expecting them to be in a position to win the 1 seed in their group.

Larkin and Eichel are kids but they're showing they have talent.

Yes, Eichel and Larkin have been awesome so far.
