Heh, good job ref seeing the result of the hit and working the lottery machine...

"Hmm, he was injured, it must have been a dirty hit! 5 minutes for sure!"

Let's hope those refs enjoy their final game of the tournament. No way will they dress for another after this. I'm sure Kale will make sure of it.

Look how hot emotions are. These farce refs have no controll over this war.

**** me Freddie!! I knew it! Mother****ing IIHF! You knew it was going to be an automatic 5+20 just because the player was injured.

You just know he's going to be back for the second period as if nothing had happened. There was practically no contact whatsoever. The only way he could have gotten hurt is by throwing himself to the ice.

I sure hope so. People make mistakes, it's normal. But the same guy, exactly one year later. Well, at least now there was a penalty.

Is it an international rule now that on a hit, if a player in injured, the player who hit him is kicked out? To add fuel to the fire, this will completely abolish any control they have over the rest of the game.

I just don't know what to say about this. I get tired of the "IIHF refs are awful" claims all the time - but with what we've seen this tournament the old maxim remains true.:shakehead

I'm speechless, boy was that bad.

Where the ........ do they find these guys?

LOL at the comments here. Are you guys really unable to see what Leo did? He deserved it. Finns are basically punished for being cocky in a meaningless game and Komarov being a tool.

I don't care about the score. I'm just laughing here. :biglaugh: these refs are a joke.

Leksa is a boss:yo:

These ****ing idiots ALWAYS go against Finland. Where the **** do they bring these monkeys from, game has been very physical, they have shown that they have "let them play" line. Then they give 5min for Finland for clean hit. ****ing **** sucking ******* get out of there, there is game going on.

Really, was that a 5+20 kneeing? I could've understood a 2 min call but being sent off?

Nope, but if a hit is penalized and the player is deemed injured, it's an automatic major.

Yadayadayada...everyone and their mother knows it was a BS call.

Lol the call was kneeing, not charging or hit to the head.
