Holy crap how much I hate that "I'm an albatross" song. It's the epitome of "popular" garbage music. Just arrived and I see it's 1-1 after the 2nd period. Has the game been as close as the score?

Henrik Tallinder was solid. But considering personal issues, Brodin, Hedman and Enström should've been there ahead of him.

Imo Ruutu was and, still is, the best Finnish prospect since Selänne. He was bloody well dominant in the World Cup of Hockey and.. What we've seen after that has been just a shadow of what he was and could have been.
These are probably his worst games so far, its really sad.
Yeah, Tallinder being a funnier guy than both Hedman and Brodin.
They will. Both Sweden and Czech have looked like **** for the most of the time.

i have always thought Russia as the main rival. Sweden is love/hate thing but Russia is pure hate

He is still pretty ok, but he never had the hockey sense to put all of his toolbox together at once.
Forsberg could skate well, hit and make excellent passes in the same shift.
Ruutu could skate well, hit, make excellent passes and shoot laserbeams. Only it would take four different shifts.

Donskoi, Komarov and Barkov are VERY finnish. They are so finnish that they are more finnish than those with finnish names.

Good point! Russians definitely are good people and most Finns have no silly personal hatred against Russians. And those who do, should know better. Their rulers on the other hand, hmm, often appear rather eccentric choices from the Finnish perspective...
This is very true, but he was what 21? When the njuries started to take their toll.. Scratch that 19.. But he never had the window of opportunity to put all four into a single shift before it started to fall apart because of injuries. Forsberg is an all time great, Ruutu had one tool more, from the cusp of greatness to mediocrity
