 This bearded lady approves. How expensive is a case of beer (20 bottles) in Danemark anyway?

100 kroner for 24 if its decent quality I think...I don't drink much.

I live close to germany(Don't speak german well anymore but understand everything. can watch a german movie without subs) so I just buy it there insted:p

Didnt you Say bye after dk scored to 2-0??? Year Well try that 13 years in a row. The last 2-3 years all the other teams are catching us, we make no upsets and always have to fight to stay up and see somtimes lesser teams go further...

Not rly :) Just went out and got some air after 2:0....

Denmark struggles cause of bad coaching. U got some big and physical players and u dnt use that advantedge. U should play more North american.

yup that famous Japanese players who was just excited to score only to realizea few mmilliseconds later he scored against his own team :D

Yeah. We had to win this match, since a draw would send Denmark to relegation group. That own goal sealed the win, and Japan even hit the post in the last seconds.

I'm confident Danemark will beat France, Italy and get a point from the Czechs.

I'm sure France has already used up all their fire power whereas Danemark has some sticks of dynamite left.

and Japanese hockey has not recovered since. seriously they were once playing at the elite level what happened to them ? maybe in alternate universe where theu win that game Japan would be playing in the elite now :D

Completely agree. I HATE that some people always have to be stupid and talk about QFs before playing a game.

It's not so much a fanboy on a webforum, but some of the players seem overly confident in there own ability. (A Bendtner defect perhaps  Nah, it's not so bad!)

If Jesper B. Jensen really want a contract across the pond, he'll be looking at the CHL (maybe ECHL at best), with this kind of performance.

Danish people simply don't have the psychology to do that. You see that in every sport than Danish teams are technical and win with skill. Everytime it turns into a brawl on football, handball or hockey we usually end up losing. Norway on the other hand thrives on that kind of game.
A game plan like Switzerland or Czech is perhaps the best. Stay solid, then use your fast forwards on contras!

They originally couldn't be relegated (1 spot free for Asia), when they changed that rule they went down!

interesting that you'd mention swiss they are a very NA style kind of team.

so they didn't really produce any decent players or what? did they stay only because of that rule?

They have had an NHL goalie that will play in Esbjerg next year, since Mustukovs will try a move to a bigger club.
Meet Yukata Fukufuji with 4 NHL games:

Star Taro Tsujimoto have eluded us all.....:sarcasm: so Esbjerg got the best japanese on paper!
In that 2004 WC - Chris Bright was one of Japan's best.

Are we talking 0,33l bottles? Then it's freaking expensive. Is every Scandinavian just constantly migrating to do their grocery shopping? Is this how you spend your time? :shakehead:laugh:

I think QF should be the goal for every team. Even if it's not realistic, always aim higher.

Denmark is very expensive, but Norway would give you a heart-attack
