I have more intense Sunday skates with my daughter than this game
Good for Latvia, they deserved to win.

This isn't even the best possible Latvian teamAnd they dominate Finland. Either Latvia has taken a huge step in hockey or Finland's quality without NHL players is just really really bad. I'm thinking the latter.
You clearly didn't watch the game or your daughter is in intensive care with a broken back.I have more intense Sunday skates with my daughter than this game![]()
WHat? It was a really high tempo game..I have more intense Sunday skates with my daughter than this game

Don't make assumptions from one game. In WC's Finland ALWAYS has a very non-NHL-dominant team. We usually do quite ok.
Well when even our best Liiga (olympic level) players decline, you know its not going to be easy tournament. Without even talking about NHL guys..

I might be wrong, but I don't think a European national team has ever been led by an active NHL coach in recent history.latvia must keep ted nolan.
This whole team is a sign of the cancer that is Jokerit. This KHL thing is poison. Team selection was biased and horrid. So sad for Finland.
No, it really was not an intense game. You really have to do better in 1-on-1 situations. There just was no battle.
