Canada has, at least on paper, such good team. Not going into finals with this roster would be big dissapointment. I have feeling Crosby will dominate this tournament with bunch of points.

Yeah I do. McDavid is going to be the future star for Team Canada, this tournament is treated more like a development tool than a must win championship for Canada. So I think they would certainly have him on the roster to get him more international experience.

This. Also didn't send guys in to forcheck they just trapped by loading up the neutral and D zones on entry. The big ice makes it easier for the dzone to break out.

this is exactly why i dont like it.
More ice makes for greater speed on the outside
and less movement to the middle for scoring chances.

Which is smart defending. It's pretty much the same in the NHL with all the smart teams. They collapse the front of their own net.

I guess if you want guys running around as fast as they can like chickens with their heads cut off, then yeah. But I love the east-west plays, more regroupings, etc. Makes for more interesting hockey.
