I liked both picks in the 2nd round. I like Strbak from the "man playing against men" side of things. In tournament play, there wasn't a lot of nonsense to his game.

Fun fact, Maxim's father Martin played a season in NHL for Kings and Penguins in 2003/2004 and won World Championships gold with Slovakia.

Supposedly Lou and the Islanders had extensive meetings with Strbak pre-draft so he was high on Lou's radar. Not sure about Lou's eye for skill, but he has a decent track record with defensive Dmen.
