News Article: Max Pacioretty is jacked.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Eller, Kaberle, Bourque and now Pacioretty are all in much improved health/fitness, I for one look forward to some on ice results.

I'm looking forward to seeing him out there on the ice.

I just hope it doesn't slow his game down. Guy was quick before.

Maybe he's just pumping up to make sure he can lay out Chara.

Wouldn't that be something.

That's as heavy as Desharnais, Gionta, Gomez, Plekanec, Diaz and Weber...

O_O

lol you think him pushing 1000 pounds accross a room....will slow him down...?

I have said this before and I still remember it today.
When Max was at the combine before his draft, Trevor Timmins
said the kid had the strength and stamina better than most in
the league.

He is going to be a powerhouse for us for years to come.

He is going to be the envy of his draft class.

Max has always shown up for the pre-season including his rookie campaign with the least body fat out of all the Habs and it wouldn't surprise me if that goes for all the players in the NHL.:handclap:

He could destroy him if he gets a clean run at him, but at what cost?

Remember when everyone wanted him out of Montreal?

Yup

No I dont remember that. What I do remember is people projecting him to become a very good 3rd liner, rightfully so. His progression took a drastic turn back in 2010-2011.

well at one point, being anything under 8% bf would kind of stupid for an NHL season...let's not make a contest out of it. That said, 218 lbs with sub 10%bf is freaking impressive!

There was a point were he was out of confidence completely and he was even sucking in the ahl... a miracle happended with him... he played with desharnais and his confidence exploded since then... i was prior to the explosion almost sure he wasnt strong enough mentally...he was SOOOO tentative with the puck it was sad.. well it shows confidence can change everything its sad to hear the stories about Leblanc in hamilton... i guess we need someone to wake up leblanc the right way...
