Stamkos gets extra votes cause he's going up against a Leaf.
Truth is scoring is only up because there's ALOT more talent in the NHL now then there was back in 2011/12

edit: also not saying Matthews should be over Stammer. I actually didnt vote because I dont wanna be biased but for sure Stammer wins this not only cause u can argue he deserves it but because of who he's up against.

IMO it's quite close.

Interestingly, they both adjust to 68 goals according to hockey reference.

You might be right, but I think you have to support that statement with some surrounding facts in order to make it impactful.

I haven't voted yet. And if there was a "tie" option, I'd probably be clicking that right now.
